Business-to-Business Officer, The Procter & Gamble Company; Michael Madden,
Chief Technology Officer, J.D. Edwards; and John Fontanella, Vice President
and General Manager, Consumer Packaged Goods/Lifesciences and Retail Industry
Service, AMR Research -- attracted overwhelming attendance for their
compelling discussions on optimizing supply chains, Web services,
collaborative commerce, and challenges currently facing today's industry
leaders.
"We are thrilled at the overall quality of attendees and their
participation at this year's event," said Kerry Gumas, Vice President,
Advanstar Technology Group. "As there is an enormous demand for efficient
supply chain solutions, Frontline Solutions' Supply Chain Week exhibitors
provided strategies to answer the needs of today's market. Attendees were
able to capture the latest solutions and receive expert advice on the newest,
ground-breaking technologies in numerous industries."
"Today's fast-paced business environment, combined with a highly leveraged
workforce, does not allow much time for the typical business person to attend
multiple events in search of the right solution, education, and as well as
networking opportunities," said Peter Alvarez, Senior Director, Products and
Services, the Uniform Code Council, Inc. "Frontline Solutions Supply Chain
Week has been ideally positioned as a must-attend event for decision makers by
bringing together the technology, business, and industry standards with an
education-rich conference under one roof. The Uniform Code Council is pleased
to have been a part of this year's inaugural event."
"Frontline represents a very important annual platform for Automatic
Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) technologies, both on the show floor
and in the comprehensive educational offerings at the event," Dan Mullen,
Interim CEO, AIM, Inc. "AIM looks forward to continuing the strong
cooperative relationship with Advanstar to grow the AIDC marketplace."
"Frontline Solutions' Supply Chain Week again provided my team the unique
opportunity to network with many of the world's leading AutoID solutions
providers at one time," said Kenneth Porad, Program Manager, Permanent Bar
Code ID Program, The Boeing Company. "After this year's experience at the
event, we anticipate attending the 2003 show in Chicago."
"Frontline Solutions' Supply Chain Week serves a very necessary triad of
functions: social, business, and technical," said Bruce Philpot, Managing
Director of The Center for Automatic Identification, Ohio University. "All
three of those needs were well met at this year's show, as our days were
filled with very meaningful and productive contacts, meetings, and
discussions. Also, The Knowledge Center was an important, viable, and
positive attribute of the show that served as a significant source of
informative literature distribution and a place to sit down, meet, and hash
out deals."
