LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment (Starz) and the
Hollywood Film Festival are once again teaming up for the Starz Hollywood
Awards(R) After Party. This is the third year Starz has sponsored the
post-awards show poolside party at the Beverly Hilton immediately following
the 12th Annual Hollywood Awards(R) Gala on Monday, October 27.
Celebrating the 12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival, the After Party
will wrap up a week of screenings and special presentations at ArcLight
Cinemas in Hollywood. This year's lineup includes the world premiere of the
Starz Originals production, Starz Inside: Fashion In Film which explores
the world of fashion and costume design in Hollywood films and its unique
influence on contemporary fashion off the screen.
On October 27, the festival culminates with the prestigious Hollywood
Awards(R) Gala, which honors established Hollywood and emerging filmmakers.
This year's honorees include Clint Eastwood, The Dark Knight producers
Christopher Nolan, Charles Roven and Emma Thomas, Ben Stiller, Marisa
Tomei, the cast of The Secret Life of Bees (Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning,
Jennifer Hudson, Sophie Okonedo and Alicia Keys), James Franco, Sally
Hawkins, screenwriters John Patrick Shanley and Dustin Lance Black.
Following the Gala will be the Starz Hollywood Awards(R) After Party, whose
attendees last year included cast members John Travolta, Nikki Blonsky and
Zac Effron from the Golden Globe(R)-nominated film Hairspray, Academy
Award(R)-nominated Ellen Page and Oscar(R)-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody
from the Oscar(R)-nominated film Juno, as well as Ben Affleck, Casey
Affleck, Cheryl Hines, Kelly Preston and more.
