Colder Presents Next Generation of Chemical Dispensing Systems at Pack Expo 2007

Thomas Braun educates about safety as an ongoing concern for chemical
                                 companies

ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Colder Products Company's
Thomas Braun, business unit manager for chemical handling, will speak about
safety and sustainability in chemical dispensing systems at Pack Expo 2007.
Braun's presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, 11:50
a.m.-12:30 p.m. He also will be available for booth meetings (Booth #
S-5529) throughout the conference.
During the presentation, titled New Generation of Chemical Dispensing
Systems, Braun will outline industry trends in chemical dispensing systems,
and the difference between the "open" systems used today and the "closed"
systems of the future. He will discuss some of the benefits that are
derived from adopting a closed-system approach, including: simplified
logistics; reduced chemical waste, exposure and costs; enhanced worker
safety; and minimized environmental impact. Braun will also offer insights
on how RFID technology can be used to enhance safety of dispensing systems.
In addition, as an example of the closed systems Braun refers to in his
presentation, Colder will display its quick disconnect couplings and
dispensing systems in their booth. The DrumQuik(R) PRO quick disconnect
dispensing system will be featured, along with the patented Universal
Dispensing Coupler (UDC) that provides an instant connection to bag-in-box
packaging systems. The company also will demonstrate many other products
designed to minimize spillage and promote safety for workers and the
environment.
"Open chemical dispensing systems are susceptible to spillage, waste
and noxious vapor release and, as a result, needlessly expose personnel,
equipment and the environment to hazardous chemicals and costly spills,"
said Braun. "Companies can easily and cost effectively convert to closed
dispense systems, like the DrumQuik PRO and UDC product lines, thereby
minimizing waste and exposure, and increasing productivity, safety and
profitability."
Colder will also be exhibiting later this month at the Chem Show in New
York, October 30 - November 2 (booth # 836), where the company will
announce a series of product line expansions and enhancements for the
DrumQuik PRO quick disconnect dispensing system.
