Dawn Zier is Promoted to President of Global Consumer Marketing at The Reader's Digest Association, Inc.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY UNITED STATES
    PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Dawn Zier has been promoted
to President, Global Consumer Marketing, responsible for expanded marketing
across all channels worldwide for The Reader's Digest Association, Inc.,
announced Mary Berner, President and Chief Executive Officer of RDA, to
whom she reports.

    Zier has been responsible for most of the company's marketing
activities in North America since 2005. As President, North American
Consumer Marketing, she spearheaded the successful circulation launch
strategy for Every Day with Rachael Ray and has been instrumental in
driving significant retail and digital growth across the United States.
During her marketing tenure, RDA has led the industry in circulation across
four major categories with Reader's Digest, Taste of Home, The Family
Handyman, and Birds & Blooms.

    Before joining RDA in 1992, Zier held positions at AT&T and Chase
Manhattan Bank. She has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management as
well as a Master's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science from MIT.

    Zier is active within the publishing industry, serving as co-chair of
the ABC Magazine Directors' Advisory Committee as well as being a member of
the MPA Consumer Marketing Committee.
