Aon Employees Raise Money for 9-11 Victims

'Running to Remember' in Chicago Marathon

    CHICAGO, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- 81 Aon employees will be a part of 37,500
other runners participating in the October 13 Chicago Marathon. Their goals
will be more than just personal glory, as they raise money for the Aon
Memorial Education Fund, created to assist families of the victims of the
World Trade Center attacks.
The marathoners, from the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Bermuda have
adopted the theme "Running to Remember," to honor the memories of friends and
colleagues who lost their lives when the World Trade Center towers were
destroyed.
Aon established the Memorial Education Fund immediately after the
terrorist attacks to ensure that the children of Aon employees who were lost
can pursue post-secondary education and to assist families with the
educational requirements of children with special needs.
The Aon runners will be participating in the Chicago Marathon on October
13 and the New York Marathon on November 3.
