DALLAS, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Quadrem, the global eMarketplace, has
added Gary Ito to its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.
Gary joins Quadrem after more than 18 years with Nortel Networks where he
held a variety of international and executive positions in Finance, Operations
and Business Planning, in addition to assignments at Nortel's corporate
headquarters.
"Gary brings an exceptional track record of international operations and

As Director of Finance for Nortel Networks Japan and Controller for the
Asia Pacific region, Gary was recognized with two CFO Awards of Excellence for
his outstanding leadership and deployment of a new general ledger that cut the
monthly close cycle from six to four days, while enhancing the region's
financial reporting capability. Gary also led the design and deployment of a
new global process to drive cash collection performance and eliminate margin
erosion throughout the sales and delivery cycle. The successful
implementation of this global process was a major contributor in Nortel's
return to profitability in 2003.
Gary has served on the Board of Trustees for the Canadian Chamber of
Commerce in Japan, and the Executive Committee of the Board for the American
Electronics Association of Japan. Active in the community, he has served on
the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science Advisory Board, and as a Mentor
Advisor at STARTech Foundation and Early Ventures, in Richardson, Texas.
He received a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemical Engineering) from the
University of Toronto and an MBA from Queen's University at Kingston. He also
holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) accreditation.
