 CSG Supports 130 Customer Sites, Reaching More Than 6 Million Digital Cable
                  Subscribers With Video-on-Demand Services

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global customer care
and billing solutions provider CSG Systems (Nasdaq: CSGS) today announced that
it has reached a new milestone in the number of markets and digital cable
television subscribers it supports with Video-on-Demand (VOD) services.

    Across its broadband customer base, CSG reaches 130 divisions,
representing more than six million digital cable subscribers with support for
VOD services.  Through its customer care and billing product set designed to
support broadband services customers, CSG provides a seamless system to enable
customers to order, purchase, conduct customer service inquiries and receive
an invoice for VOD services.
    According to a recent report by Stratecast Partners, VOD deployments have
increased steadily across all of the broadband operators, with various sources
estimating that close to half of all digital cable homes now have access to
Video-on-Demand services.
    "Video-on-Demand is becoming a critical service initiative for broadband
operators in North America today, particularly as part of their effort to
enhance the value of their digital cable services and achieve competitive

inevitably help limit customer churn.  To do this, operators need billing and
