Ormat Technologies, Inc. to Host Conference Call Announcing Third Quarter Earnings Results

    SPARKS, Nev., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ormat Technologies, Inc.
(NYSE: ORA) plans to announce its third quarter 2005 earnings results in a
press release that will be issued on Wednesday, November 9, 2005.  The Company
has scheduled a conference call to discuss the results at 9 a.m. ET on
Thursday, November 10.

    The conference call will be broadcast live as a listen-only webcast. To
