Parlux Fragrances, Inc. (Nasdaq: PARL) announced today the settlement of
litigation which had been initiated against one of its suppliers in May 2001.
A more detailed description of the legal action has been disclosed in recent
SEC filings by the Company.
On October 7, 2002, the Company received a payment of approximately
$4 million in connection with a settlement agreement, with both parties
releasing all claims and terminating the lawsuit. Neither party admitted any
wrongdoing or liability in connection with the settlement.
Parlux Fragrances, Inc. is a manufacturer and international distributor of
prestige fragrances and holds the licenses to manufacture and distribute the
designer fragrance brands of Perry Ellis, Fred Hayman Beverly Hills, Ocean
Pacific (OP), and JOCKEY. The Company also owns, manufactures and distributes
its own fragrance brand, Animale Parfums.
