P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Michelle Branch and Ted Nugent Urge Each Potential Voter
to HAVE IT YOUR WAY(R) in 2004 and Vote!

MIAMI, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation today launched a

to HAVE IT YOUR WAY(R) in 2004 and vote in the upcoming presidential elections
on November 2, 2004.

"Musicians have a strong voice of influence in today's culture. We are
proud to add our voice to theirs, as we encourage young Americans to
participate in the democratic process by voting in this year's presidential
elections," said Russ Klein, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King Corporation.
"We are lending to this campaign our long-standing and well-recognized core
value of HAVE IT YOUR WAY(R), which resonates loudly with our consumers in the
U.S., typically younger Americans, and ties in very strongly with the voting
process. After all, voting is the ultimate form of HAVE IT YOUR WAY(R)."
The ads, which primarily target a younger audience between 18-25 years of
age, start today and will run through the election on November 2, 2004. The
:15 and :30 spots will appear on ABC, NBC, CBS, BET, Cartoon Network, Comedy
Central, Country Music Television, ESPN, FOX, FX, MTV, SciFi, Spike, TBS, UPN,
USA, VH1 and WB. While the ads are not specifically designed to be Public
Service Announcements, some cable networks are providing free airtime to run
them as PSAs.
In each spot, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Michelle Branch and Ted Nugent remind
young people that their votes do matter, but the only way they will have a say
is if they get out and vote. All of the spots are unbiased and devoid of
political commentary. Some are directed by Paul Hunter, the nation's hottest
music video director, who, along with the artists, donated his time to support
this effort. To view the spots and learn more about the initiative, consumers

"Across the nation reports are coming in that voter registration is up
and, in some cases, hitting all-time highs," said Mr. Klein. "Traditionally,
young Americans have been one of the lowest voting demographics. We are
hopeful that our new ad campaign will help build on the increasing numbers of
voters by effectively reaching out to this under-represented audience."
