(Nasdaq: RXSD) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with
Dollar General to supply vitamins and herbal products under its Rexall(R)
brand name to all of Dollar General's 3,285 stores located throughout the
United States.
Additionally, Rexall Sundown has entered into agreements with Pathmark and
Duane Reade to sell its Sundown(R) brand of vitamins, nutritional supplements
and herbal products. Pathmark is a 143-store grocery chain located in the New
York metropolitan area, and Duane Reade is a 60-store drug chain also located
in the New York metropolitan area. Sundown Vitamins is the flagship brand of
Rexall Sundown.
