Reliant, Texans Players to Announce the Houston Tackles Autism Campaign
HOUSTON, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub
and running back Ahman Green, representatives from Reliant Energy, Easter
Seals, Papa John's and Houston Independent School District are holding a
news conference to raise awareness about Autism and other disabilities and
to promote the coloring book Playing Together: Tips from the Pros.
All proceeds from the sales of the newly created coloring book, Playing
Together: Tips from the Pros, will benefit Easter Seals, a nationwide,
nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities and
special needs children. In the book, some of Houston's favorite sports
stars will share tips to help kids look past disabilities and understand
that kids with disabilities are just kids.

will be available for $3 beginning Oct. 16 at all Houston-area Papa John's
stores.
There are 54 million Americans with disabilities and almost half are
school-aged children, many of whom are in or entering mainstreamed school
settings. Playing Together: Tips from the Pros is intended to be used as a
tool in helping early childhood and kindergarten students build new images
and influence their attitudes about people with disabilities.
