Raytheon Selected to Provide Engineering Services to Naval Warfare Assessment Station

    RESTON, Va., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has been
selected to provide engineering and support services to the U.S. Navy and the
U.S. Marine Corps under a U.S. Navy contract designed to support Automatic
Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Program Sets (TPS) for the Naval Warfare
Assessment Station, Corona, Calif.
    This is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity
contract worth up to an aggregate of more than $320 million. The ceiling for
Raytheon's award is $71.5 million over the life of the contract.
    As one of four awardees on this five-year contract, which includes a one-
year base period followed by four one-year options, Raytheon Technical
Services Company will provide engineering and support services, to include
design and implementation of test program sets for certain electronic systems
presently in the field; ongoing support of automatic test equipment design for
AEGIS, Third Echelon Test System, and Trident weapon systems; and limited
fabrication/installation and support of transit case test sets. Work will be
performed in Norfolk, Va., and in Long Beach and Chula Vista, Calif.
