22-year partnership extended to 2011
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Nationwide Retirement Solutions
today announced that it will serve the city of Memphis's 457 Deferred
Compensation Plan for five more years. Under the agreement, NRS will
provide the recordkeeping, marketing, education and investment management
for the plan's more than 5,600 participants.
For the past 22 years, Nationwide has served as the exclusive
administrator for Memphis's deferred compensation plan. Within the plan,
participants can choose from more than 30 investment options. The city also
offers its participants the Memphis Blended Fixed Option that is comprised
of a guaranteed income account and the Nationwide Life Fixed Annuity. The
investment option benefits participants through stable returns, protection
of their principal investment and provides penalty-free liquidity for
participant-initiated withdrawals.
