Aflac Incorporated To Release Third Quarter Results on October 24, 2006

COLUMBUS, GA USA
    COLUMBUS, Ga., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aflac Incorporated
(NYSE: AFL) announced today that it will release third quarter financial
results after the market closes on October 24, 2006.
    In conjunction with the earnings release, Aflac Incorporated will
webcast a conference call scheduled for 9:00 a.m. (EDT) on October 25,
2006. During the teleconference, Aflac Incorporated Chairman and CEO Dan
Amos will discuss third quarter results and the outlook for the remainder
of 2006. Other Aflac executives will be available to answer questions,
including President and CFO Kriss Cloninger; President and COO of Aflac
Japan and Chairman of Aflac International Aki Kan; Executive Vice President
and COO of Aflac U.S. Paul S. Amos II; Senior Vice President and CIO Joe
Smith; and Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Investment Officer Jerry
Jeffery.
    The conference call on October 25, 2006, will be available via webcast.
