      E.piphany to Improve Multi-channel Customer Service Across Rank's
                           Three Million Customers

    SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- E.piphany (Nasdaq: EPNY), a
leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today announced that Rank
Group Gaming Division, one of the UK's leading leisure and entertainment
companies, has selected E.piphany to help provide its customers with the best
possible service.  The implementation of E.piphany's CRM solution will benefit
Rank's Mecca Bingo, Grosvenor Casinos and forthcoming online gaming businesses
that will use the software to improve customer insight and share customer
intelligence across existing and potential customer data sources.  E.piphany

    Rank selected E.piphany for its ability to handle the diverse customer
