Arkon Expands Its Wireless Expertise Into VoIP
BOSTON, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- At the Fall 2004 VON Conference & Expo,
Arkon Technologies Inc., international market leader in cordless telephony,
will be previewing for the first time, its new line of VoIP end terminals.
Three new products will be shown for the first time -- Vesta 100, Nostrand 100
and Nostrand 200. The Nostrand 200 is available immediately to OEM customers
while the Vesta 100 and Nostrand 100 will be available by Q1, 2005. Visit

Vesta 100
For the first time ever, the Vesta 100 brings PSTN and VoIP dual-line
integration to the small office and home, allowing users to make and receive
both PSTN and VoIP calls with a single device. With the convenience of
cordless digital technology and the expandability of multiple handsets and
speakerphones, this system provides users with the flexibility of
analog/digital voice convergence without wires.
Nostrand 100
The Nostrand 100 offers both SOHO and enterprise markets a desktop VoIP
terminal that meets the strictest business demands for quality and features
while maintaining extremely competitive pricing. Taking advantage of Arkon's
expertise in wireless and conferencing technologies, the Nostrand 100 terminal
provides Bluetooth compatibility, a full duplex speakerphone, wideband audio
support and network protocol flexibility.
Nostrand 200
The Nostrand 200 signals Arkon's extension of its wireless technologies
into 802.11 and VoIP. Through the use of wireless LAN technology, the
Nostrand 200 increases the usability of VoIP by eliminating the need for a
wired connection to the Internet. The Nostrand 200 is available immediately
in standard SIP form and also for deployment with proprietary PBX systems.
