@Home Cable Internet Service Now Available
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Good Guys! (Nasdaq: GGUY), a
leading specialty retailer of consumer entertainment electronics, today
announced that it will offer @Home high-speed cable Internet service, becoming
the first specialty retailer to join Excite@Home's (Nasdaq: ATHM) retail
merchandising program.

With the help of knowledgeable sales associates, customers of
The Good Guys! will be able to demo the @Home service, talk to a cable
representative, set up an installation time and purchase the necessary
pre-installation kit on the same visit. An Excite@Home hot-line phone in the
store will instantly connect the customer to a cable company representative
who will answer additional questions, facilitate the subscription sign-up
process and determine a convenient installation time. The Excite@Home
high-speed cable Internet service is up to 100 times faster than a standard
dial-up connection.
