ANNAPOLIS, Md., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- FTI Consulting, Inc. (Amex: FCN),
announced the pricing of a public offering of 3.5 million shares of its common
stock at a price to the public of $6.50 per share effective today. All shares
were new shares offered by the company. The company will use the net proceeds
of $20.8 million from the offering plus its other financial resources to
retire $25 million of the company's outstanding 17 percent senior subordinated
notes.
Delivery of the shares is scheduled for October 24, 2000. The offering
was lead-managed by ING Barings LLC and co-managed by Janney Montgomery Scott
LLC.
