Verilink VoIP-Enabled Access Products to be Tested at Sylantro
Interoperability Lab
BOSTON, The VON Conference and Exhibition, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- Verilink Corporation (Nasdaq: VRLK), a leading provider of broadband access
solutions, today announced its participation in Sylantro Systems' Alliance
Solutions Program as a Connected Solutions Partner.
Under the program, the companies will collaborate and perform
interoperability testing on Verilink products in the Sylantro lab with
Sylantro's Applications Feature Server. The Alliance Solutions Partner
program aims to ensure that Sylantro has the widest breadth of
interoperability with best-in-class solutions, and provides a number of
methods for partners like Verilink to test their solution with Sylantro's
features and applications.
"Interoperability with leading next-generation solutions is a key part of
our strategy," said Pat Moran, vice president of business development for
Verilink. "Testing Verilink products with the solutions from leading
interoperability partners like Sylantro assures service providers, system
integrators and enterprise customers that our products will deploy seamlessly
together as part of a total solution."
Verilink's Integrated Access Devices (IADs) are an ideal solution for
service providers looking to expand their service areas and offer small-mid
size businesses a high-quality voice and data service over T1, E1, ADSL, ADSL2
and G.SHDSL. With both VoIP and VoATM-based models offering 2 - 24 POTS ports
and a full range of integrated features, Verilink IADs offer customers toll
quality voice and high-speed Internet access over a single network connection.
Additionally, robust features such as routing, bridging, NAT, DHCP, and
support for emerging VoIP protocols such as MGCP and SIP are available all in
one unit. This allows service providers to provide peak performance at an
affordable price.
"Sylantro's applications feature server is designed to meet the most
demanding requirements of service providers throughout the world, in diverse
markets and deployments," said Jack Sorci, vice president of business
development for Sylantro. "Complementary technologies such as Verilink's IAD
give service providers the flexibility to roll out differentiated service
offerings to meet customer demand. Our interoperability work and partnership
with Verilink allow Sylantro's service-provider customers to leverage Verilink
products for their hosted communications offerings."
Sylantro Systems is a leading provider of hosted PBX and IP Centrex
applications, voice VPN capabilities and consumer broadband voice
applications, which are delivered via the company's proven carrier-grade
applications feature server. The Sylantro platform provides the reliability,
operability and regulatory compliance required for massively scalable carrier
