As the strategic billing provider of sunrise, CSG supports the post paid
customers within its total mobile customer base of 1.323 million and 800,000
residential wireline customers on a single platform. With a transparent view
of the customer base, sunrise can differentiate itself with the ability to
deliver all services with a single bill. In addition, this holistic customer
view enables it to consistently deliver high-quality service and deploy
innovative marketing programs and bundled offers across all of its
subscribers.
The convergent billing platform of sunrise also supports all of the
services the operator offers or plans to offer in the Swiss market across its
existing GSM and GPRS networks, as well as the services that will be launched
under the new UMTS network for which sunrise holds a licence.
sunrise also has successfully deployed the CSG Kenan(R) Roaming module,
which is pre-integrated within CSG Kenan/BP, in order to support its mobile
roaming needs. This functionality enables it to effectively manage its
existing roaming revenues and programs, as well as being able to capitalize on
any new additional revenue-generating opportunities through the roaming
standards supported within the module.
A dedicated CSG's Professional Services team worked with sunrise to deploy
CSG Kenan/BP and the pre-integrated modules on a timeline that met the
business objectives of sunrise.
"We are very pleased with the performance of CSG Kenan/BP and with the
evolution of the pre-integrated modules successfully deployed within our
business. We believe that CSG's robust and proven billing platform will not
only support the customer base of sunrise today, but will evolve with the new
services we plan to launch through our networks in a scalable and cost
effective manner," said Simon Pasquier, IT Billing Director, at sunrise.
"CSG's suite of Kenan billing solutions provide sunrise with the capabilities
we need to support our customers and quickly launch new revenue-generating
services."
"With more than 50 of the world's market-leading mobile operators as
customers, CSG is dedicated to providing the solutions the industry needs to
support a wide range of services and business objectives across a single
customer base," said Gary Burch, general manager, CSG's Europe, Middle East
and Africa region. "CSG delivers to sunrise a single platform that is
tailored to meet its business objectives today but that is also flexible and
scalable enough that new solutions can be quickly added over time to address
specific needs as its business evolves."
