BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boise Cascade Corporation
(NYSE: BCC) announced today that holders representing approximately
$884 million principal amount of Boise's debt securities have tendered their
securities pursuant to the company's tender offer, which commenced October 5,
2004. This represents approximately 79% of the principal amount of the
securities included in the offer. The company's tender offer is limited to
$800 million of aggregate consideration.
Withdrawal rights with respect to the securities tendered terminated as of
5 p.m., Eastern Time, today. The company is extending the Early Tender Date
for the offer to 5 p.m., Eastern Time, on Thursday, October 21, 2004, for each
issue covered by the tender offer.
Boise has retained Banc of America Securities LLC as the sole dealer
