alliance with Business Objects (Nasdaq: BOBJ), which enables Peregrine to
deliver business intelligence capabilities in its Consolidated Asset and
Service Management solutions.  Peregrine's new BI Portal 5.0, introduced
today, delivers a powerful analytic tool designed to transform IT data into
meaningful, business-focused intelligence.
    Built on the BusinessObjects(TM) Enterprise 6 BI platform, Peregrine's BI
Portal provides Web-based access to users for intelligent data mining and
trend analysis across the organization.  Peregrine chose to leverage
Enterprise 6 because of its market-leading Web query, reporting and analysis
technology, as well as the platform's rich end-user functionality.  BI Portal
allows global enterprises to capture, analyze and disseminate service
management information in real-time throughout the company, enabling IT and
non-IT managers to make smart business decisions.  BI Portal users can share

can analyze standardized business data from any number of perspectives,
keeping track of the metrics most important to them on a daily basis.
