Sentry Technology Signs Dealer Agreement With ADT Mexico

     RONKONKOMA, N.Y., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sentry Technology
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SKVY) announced today the signing of a dealer
agreement with ADT Security Services S.A. de C.V., Tyco International's, ADT-
Sensormatic subsidiary in Mexico.  Under the agreement, ADT has the right to
sell, install and service Sentry's product line, including our patented
SentryVision(R) SmartTrack traveling camera system and the QuickCheck self-
service kiosk for libraries.  Sentry has been successful in the past, selling
SmartTrack to Mexico's largest retailers.  We expect that ADT will assume
responsibility for on-going service of this important customer base.
