BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boise Cascade Corporation
(NYSE: BCC) announced today that the Early Tender Date, with respect to the
tender offer for its debt securities for up to $800 million of aggregate
consideration, expired at 5 p.m., Eastern Time, today. Holders who delivered
valid tenders by the Early Tender Date that are accepted for payment will
receive the Total Consideration as defined in the offer for that respective
series of securities. Holders who tender their debt securities after the
Early Tender Date will receive the Total Consideration, less the early tender
payment, applicable to their securities. The Total Consideration and the
Tender Offer Consideration will be determined as of 2 p.m. Eastern Time, on
Friday, October 22, 2004, unless otherwise modified.
