SAN DIEGO, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Supermarket partners Ralphs and Food
4 Less today donated more than $10,000 in food and supplies to the American
Red Cross for wildfire victims evacuated to Qualcomm Stadium.
Ralphs and Food 4 Less are providing food, infant formula, milk, fruit,
diapers, and toothbrushes and toothpaste for wildfire victims displaced to
Qualcomm Stadium. The product was delivered in a Ralphs refrigerated
trailer, which will remain on site at the stadium.
The donation is part of Ralphs Grocery Company's commitment to support
the American Red Cross' efforts to bring aid to the victims of the Southern
California wildfires. Also today, Ralphs and Food 4 Less announced that
their charitable arm, The Ralphs/Food 4 Less Foundation, has pledged
$200,000 to the Red Cross for wildfire relief in Southern California.
Ralphs/Food 4 Less was founded in 1873 and currently operates 400
conventional and warehouse-style supermarkets in California, Nevada,
Illinois and Indiana, from its headquarters in Los Angeles. The company is
