ATLANTA, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Bull Run Corporation (Nasdaq: BULL)
announced that affiliate iHigh.com, Inc. (http://www.ihigh.com ), has unveiled a
joint content partnership with FOXSPORTS.com. Through Bull Run's wholly owned
subsidiary, Host Communications, Inc., Bull Run has a 37% ownership interest
in iHigh.com, the nation's largest high school Internet network and official
partner of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
As a result of the FOXSPORTS.com agreement, iHigh.com will provide high
school sports news and statistics to FOXSPORTS.com's comprehensive online
destination for high school sports, FOXStudentSports.com. Articles, rosters,
schedules, standings, records, player statistics, game results and box scores
from iHigh.com will be featured on FOXStudentSports.com, as well as up-to-the-
minute coverage of boys' and girls' sports ranging from baseball and
basketball to wrestling. In addition, FoxStudentSports.com will provide a
direct link to the iHigh.com site.
iHigh.com has recently announced several other notable ventures,
including:
* CGS InfoGraphics Automation: CGS InfoGraphics Automation, a leading
broadcast graphics automation company, and iHigh.com recently reached an
agreement whereby up-to-the-minute high school sports scores will be collected
through the iHigh.com website and redistributed electronically to television
stations, cable networks and Internet portals via the SCHOOLSTREAM(TM) wire
feed, that can be interfaced with CGS's ScoresNOW! Display System. The
ScoresNOW! Display System allows television stations and cable networks the
ability to display this automated information in a lower-third ticker or full
screen, along with national and professional sports scores.
* Road Tour 2000: iHigh.com has embarked on an 11-week journey across the
U.S. to meet with its high school audience in order to talk to teens about
what they are looking for online, as well as to learn about the issues and
concerns affecting their lives offline. iHigh.com will visit 31 states and
240 schools and events from band competitions to homecoming dances and
football games.
* iHigh News Network (iNN): iHigh.com recently launched an online national
network of the best in high school journalism. With help from high school
journalism advisors, journalism students are able to email stories from their
high school newspapers to the iNN. Selected stories then will appear on the
network where national stories from other high school newspapers and
television and radio stations are posted.
* Colorado venture: iHigh.com has teamed with the Colorado High School
State Activities Association (CHSSA) and the Denver Post to provide the CHSAA
and Denver Post with high school sporting event schedules, team rosters,
statistics, scores and more. In return, the CHSAA and Denver Post will
provide iHigh.com information regarding state and regional news. The three
parties also will feature web links to and from each other's relevant online
content.
* School Toolz 2.0: iHigh.com recently released a new version of its
innovative online technology software School Toolz(TM) so that the more than
10,000 schools committed to the network can more easily update their school
site.
Created to link every high school across the U.S., iHigh.com, based in
Lexington, Ky., provides high schools the opportunity to easily create and
maintain their own free web sites within the iHigh.com network, and offers
teens a community for information on a local, state and national level.
Formed by Host Communications, Inc. in July 1999, iHigh.com also has the
National Federation of State High School Associations as an equity
participant. Bull Run (http://www.bullruncorp.com ), through Host Communications, is
