honored Marybel Batjer, vice president of public policy and communications
for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., during the "New Thinking About Thinking"
celebration last week at Wynn Las Vegas.

The exclusive "New Thinking About Thinking" celebration honored women
who made an indelible mark upon the Las Vegas community. The celebration
also served as a platform for the unveiling of a new philosophy and
mission. During the ceremony, Cartier auctioned off a diamond necklace
worth more than $25,000, with all proceeds going to LRBI.

the globe who suffer from diseases of the brain," said Batjer. "I'm humbled

Harrah's Entertainment is celebrating the achievements of women in
leadership during the month of October. Harrah's will host the Women's
Leadership Forum 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 30 at the Rio
All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Featured speakers will include
Marilyn Winn, president of Bally's, Paris and Rio, and Diana Rhodes,
program manager of the Women's Research Institute at UNLV. They will
discuss the evolution of women's leadership and how women can expand their
roles in business and in the community.
