Fortis Health Expands Agreement With MSAver for Administration, Support Of Small Group MSAs

Medical Savings Accounts (MSA) Provide Average Savings of 30 to 40 Percent For
          Employers, Versus Traditional Low-Deductible Health Plans

    MILWAUKEE and OVERLAND PARK, Mo., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Fortis Health,
the nation's leading provider of Medical Savings Accounts (MSAs) for
individuals, has expanded its agreement with MSAver, a leading national MSA
administrator, to provide support for Fortis Health's Small Group MSA
products.  The agreement will provide comprehensive administration and support
to agents who sell Fortis Health Small Group MSAs and the small business
owners and employees who purchase them.  MSAs are tax-favored accounts
available to self-employed individuals and small groups to finance medical
care expenses.  Employers can save an average of 30 to 40 percent, and
sometimes more, when offering an MSA over more traditional low-deductible
health plans.

Health's Small Group MSAs with no up-front or annual fees.  MSA customers will
be able to manage their account through a customized web site and toll-free
help lines.  Agents will be equipped with expanded sales tools and resources,
including a presentation CD; plan comparison software that automatically
generates charts; a contribution spreadsheet; sample articles and more.
Through MSAver, Fortis Health's Small Group MSA customers will also have
access to a wide variety of investment alternatives.
