SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NeoMagic
Corporation (Nasdaq: NMGC), a pioneer in developing solutions for
multimedia-rich mobile phones and other mobile systems, and Alps Electric Co.,
Ltd, a leading manufacturer of electronics components today announced the
development of a digital mobile television solution for handset manufacturers.
The solution addresses handset manufacturers' need to get to market
quickly with a complete digital mobile television solution that delivers high

NeoMagic and Alps Electric are demonstrating this end-to-end solution for
receiving, de-modulating, de-coding and displaying video and audio content for
the Japanese ISDB-T (1-Segment) broadcast standards. This demonstration can
be seen at the Cable and Satellite Multi-Channel TV to Handhelds Conference

Module product and NeoMagic's MiMagic 6+ multimedia processor and software
solution combining the strengths of both companies. It will be available for
handset manufacturers to evaluate beginning November 1st, 2005.
