SCHAUMBURG, Ill., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- American Chartered Bank today
announced the appointment of Andrew J. Cameron, 31, as senior vice president
of commercial lending.  In addition, Cameron retains an ownership position
with American Chartered Bank.
    In his role, Cameron is responsible for the generation and growth of the
bank's commercial business.  Before he joined American Chartered, Cameron was
first vice president and division head of LaSalle Bank NI.  Prior to that, he
was a vice president and team leader for The First National Bank of Chicago.

industrial lending side of our business.  He brings considerable knowledge to
this area, including healthcare lending.  It's an exciting time for American

    Cameron received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Loyola
University of Chicago in 1988 and 1991, respectively.  He is currently a
member of Robert Morris Associates and the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce.
    A native of Highland Park, IL., Cameron currently resides there with his
wife and daughter.
