Performance Technologies Expands Sales Presence in Australia and New Zealand

    ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Performance
Technologies (Nasdaq: PTIX), a leading developer of integrated platforms,
components and software solutions for the communications, military and
commercial markets, today announced it has expanded its global sales and
distribution presence by partnering with Unitronix, a leading supplier of
commercial off the shelf (COTS) electronics in Australia and New Zealand.
    Unitronix supplies products for defense, telecommunications and real time
systems integrators.  The company has extensive experience in the
architecting, deployment and lifetime support of high tech electronics in both
military and civil programs in Australasia.  Unitronix will represent
Performance Technologies' complete line of platforms, components and software
solutions.
