third quarter ended September 30, 2005 will be released following the close of
the U.S. financial markets on Tuesday, November 1, 2005. PDL will hold a
conference call to discuss these results, the status of its clinical
development programs, its forward-looking information and guidance with
respect to future results at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time on November 1, 2005. The
