Pre-Mobile WiMAX Launch Is a Major Event in Swedish Communications History
RICHARDSON, Texas and ESKILSTUNA, Sweden, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- SB
Broadband AB today announced the launch of high-speed wireless broadband
service in Sweden using pre-WiMAX 802.16e equipment from Navini Networks,
the global leader(A) in providing plug-n-play broadband wireless access
solutions with the most experience in commercial deployments.
This is the first major project to address the broadband-starved
Swedish rural market and the first project to achieve, and retain, the full
support of all 9 municipalities that make up the County of Sodermanland.

coupled with competitively priced high-speed Internet access, they won't

SB Broadband is making use of existing licenses in the 3.5 GHz spectrum
band, and is offering competitive tiered services to its customers.
Coincidently, the Swedish company received the 1,000th commercially
deployed Beamforming base station from Navini.
