WESTLAKE, Ohio, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nordson Corporation
(Nasdaq: NDSN) today announced that it will make a donation in the amount
of $10,000 to the San Diego American Red Cross to assist victims impacted
by the wildfires that have ravaged the area this past week. Nordson will
also match employee donations made to eligible organizations assisting in
the efforts.
Nordson's Asymtek business, located in Carlsbad and Vista, California,
was closed for three days this week as many of its employees were evacuated
from their homes, but has since reopened.
"Our thoughts and concerns are with those throughout the area who have
lost loved ones or personal property. Thankfully, we have received no
reports of any losses by Asymtek employees, although many of them did have
to evacuate their homes and several are still evacuated," said John Byers,
president, Asymtek.
