CORAL GABLES, Fla., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Ramsay Youth Services, Inc.
(Nasdaq: RYOU) announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the
Florida Department of Juvenile Justice to operate the Gulf Coast Youth
Academy, a 104-bed residential treatment program for moderate-risk boys ages
14 to 18. The Gulf Coast Youth Academy is housed in Ramsay's facility located
in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The contract is for a term of 2 years and is
expected to generate over $2.8 million in annual revenue.
Commenting on the new contract, Luis E. Lamela, President and CEO of
