the RICOH(R) Pro C900, an advanced digital color printer designed
specifically for detailed production printing. PPBG will be demonstrating
the RICOH Pro C900 at GRAPH EXPO from October 26-29 at the McCormick Place
South in Chicago (booth #1775).
The RICOH Pro C900 is the ideal solution for print production
environments because it delivers maximum productivity for immediate
turnaround times. Capable of speeds up to 90 pages per minute for both
black-and-white and color print jobs, even when printing on heavy stock
paper (up to 110 lb cover/300gsm), the RICOH Pro C900 also features a range
of in-line finishing options. Pages are printed quickly for immediate
distribution in the exit tray as complete documents. Not only can the RICOH
Pro C900 be configured to support long runs, but operators can load paper
and toner without pausing jobs in process, which eliminates interruptions
and improves overall efficiency.
Central to the operation of the RICOH Pro C900 is a server-based EFI
Fiery(R) controller. The Fiery platform optimizes the Pro C900 with top
speed, quality, and advanced color management and variable data printing
(VDP) tools to maximize return on equipment investment for Ricoh customers.
The Fiery is an open, flexible solution addressing the demanding
requirements of Pro C900 customers, offering powerful standard features and
the option of additional packages to customize the Fiery to address their
specific needs.
Additionally, the RICOH Pro C900 has advanced in-line finishing options
that provide enhanced flexibility and efficiency for the end user including
a 3,000-Sheet Finisher with a 100-Sheet Stapler, a GBC StreamPunch(TM)
Finisher that rapidly produces punched documents in a variety of styles, a
Plockmatic Booklet Maker that delivers professionally finished booklets
with one-side and square folding options and a Ring Bind Finisher that
automates the entire bonding process.
