NEEDHAM, Mass., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PTC(R) (Nasdaq: PMTC),
the product development company(TM), today announced that Concurrent
Technologies Corporation (CTC) has purchased PTC's new Pro/ENGINEER(R)
Wildfire(TM) Flex3C package and put the new software into production in
September.
"Providing our clients with the most effective solutions requires the
latest technology," said Greg Holt, Director of Advanced Applications for CTC.
"Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire supports our efforts because it allows our engineers
and designers to focus on the value they deliver to our customers rather than
on the technology they use. It is smart, intuitive and collaborative and
ideally suited for the way we work at CTC."
CTC is an independent, nonprofit applied research and development
professional services organization that provides management and technology-
based solutions to a wide array of clients representing state and federal
government as well as the private sector. CTC has been a Pro/ENGINEER customer
since 1993 and has engineering facilities throughout the United States.
"Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire offers great new features including ease-of-use,
which will enable us to reduce our training costs," said Mark Pollagi of CTC.
"Many of the companies we work with are moving to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire as
well, so we want to make sure we are using the latest version of the
software."
