Europe 2004, on Wednesday, November 10 in Cologne, Germany.  Hosted by the
Biotechnology Industry Organization, it is Europe's largest event dedicated to
bringing together international decisionmakers in the biotechnology,
pharmaceutical and financial sectors to initiate or develop partnerships.

    Viragen's Product & Technology Portfolio:

    * Multiferon(R) is a highly purified, multi-subtype, natural human alpha
interferon derived from human white blood cells.  It is approved for sale in
eight countries, including Sweden, and it is primarily marketed for the
treatment of hepatitis C, malignant melanoma and other cancers.  Viragen
recently announced statistically significant results from a 7-year follow-up
to a German Phase II/III cancer clinical study that will serve as the basis
for an application Viragen intends to file in Sweden this year to seek

    * VG101 (anti-GD3 Antibody) -- Viragen is collaborating with Memorial-
Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York City) to produce a therapeutic
humanized monoclonal antibody for the treatment of malignant melanoma.
    * VG102 (anti-CD55 Antibody) -- Designed for the treatment of a broad
range of cancers, Viragen is collaborating with Cancer Research UK and the
University of Nottingham (England) to develop a humanized monoclonal antibody
designed to deactivate the protective effect of the protein CD55 on the
surface of tumor cells.
    * VG104 (IEP 11/MUC1 Peptide) -- Viragen is collaborating with the
University of Miami and the UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to
develop a novel peptide drug based on a variant of the mucin-1 antigen that
has shown dramatic promise by inhibiting the growth of a number of tumor types
in "in vivo" models.
    * Avian Transgenic Biomanufacturing Technology -- In collaboration with
Roslin Institute (Scotland), Viragen is developing avian transgenics as an
efficient and economical platform for the large-scale production of
therapeutic proteins by utilizing flocks of transgenic chickens capable of
laying eggs that express high volumes of target therapeutic proteins, such as
a monoclonal antibodies, in the egg whites.
