third quarter ended September 30, 2004 will be released following the close of
the U.S. financial markets on Monday, November 1, 2004. PDL will hold a
conference call to discuss these results, the status of its clinical
development programs, and its forward-looking information and guidance with
respect to remaining 2004 results at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time on November 1,
