CORESTAFF Completes Acquisition of Softek Software, Inc.

    HOUSTON, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- CORESTAFF, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSTF), one of
the largest national providers of information technology (IT) services and
staffing services, announced today that it has completed the previously
announced acquisition of Softek Software, Inc.  Softek provides technical
consultants for SAP(R) and Baan software implementation projects.  Softek's
current revenue run rate is approximately $8.5 million.  Other terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.
    Softek, headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., was founded in 1996 by Rahul
Harkawat, who will continue with the company.  The company currently has 30
consultants and its clients include KPMG, Ernst & Young and SAP America.
Softek's clients are primarily in Orange County, Calif. and the Silicon
Valley.  Softek will immediately be integrated into the Irvine, Calif. branch
office of COMSYS, where the COMSYS SAP practice is based.
    Commenting on the transaction, Michael T. Willis, CORESTAFF's president
and chief executive officer, stated, "The acquisition of Softek will build
upon our strong base of SAP business.  As a National Implementation Partner of
SAP, we are committed to building a national SAP practice focused on providing
full-service SAP R/3(TM) and ASAP(TM) implementation solutions for companies
in the mid-range market.   The acquisition of Softek is the latest step in our
pursuit of this goal."
