introduced an Internet portal that allows its mortgage lender partners to
access technology, tools, real-time information and other services. The new
Lender Internet Portal(SM) provides users with a convenient single point of
access to a personalized menu of lender solutions, as well as the ability to
navigate seamlessly between Internet-based applications.

"Even if our clients are using multiple products and services, they still
want to be able to manage them as one relationship. We designed the Lender
Internet Portal with that in mind," said Mike Kozlak, president of GMAC-RFC's

on one platform via the Internet for both loan sales and warehouse lending."
Through the Lender Internet Portal, which is designed to easily facilitate
e-commerce transactions, lenders have access to a suite of interconnected
GMAC-RFC tools and technology products. Starting with a simplified log-in
process, lender partners can use the Lender Internet Portal to gain access to
numerous GMAC-RFC services and tools that previously were delivered through a
stand-alone environment.
For example, through the portal, a lender can use Assetwise Direct(SM),
GMAC-RFC's Internet-based automated loan evaluation system, to get a quick
loan underwriting decision, then click to Assetlock(SM), GMAC-RFC's
Internet-based loan pricing and registration tool, where the loan information
is auto-populated. These interconnecting capabilities are available to lenders
any time with immediate, online access. "The Lender Internet Portal provides
our customers with the means to transact business electronically rather than
manually, a key to saving time and money on both sides of the transaction,"
Kozlak said.

Technology tools available on the first release include: Assetwise Direct
and Assetlock, as well as several other GMAC-RFC products: Assetdelivery(SM),
Assetinquiry(SM), Online Guides, and RFConnects(SM), the industry's only
online system designed for the management of warehouse lines. Future
enhancements will include access to lender-specific rate sheets, loan
performance, pipeline management and production statistics.
