Tom Zatina Joins Fleming as Senior Vice President, Operations for Fort Wayne, Massillon and South Brunswick Divisions

    DALLAS, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleming (NYSE: FLM) announced today Tom
Zatina is joining the company as Senior Vice President, Operations,
responsible for Fleming Divisions in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Massillon, Ohio; and
South Brunswick, New Jersey.  Zatina will report to Steve Davis, Executive
Vice President and President, Wholesale.
    Zatina joins Fleming from Connecticut-based wholesale distributor
Bozzuto's, Inc., where most recently he served as Executive Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer.  He previously served as Senior Vice President of
Operations and Vice President, Human Resources.
    Prior to joining Bozzuto's, Zatina was with Chatham Supermarkets, a 50-
store retail food chain in Michigan.  At Chatham he served in a number of
store operations and corporate management positions including Vice President,
Human Resources and Labor Relations.
