DALLAS, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleming (NYSE: FLM) today announced that
it has extended until 5 p.m. EDT on September 20, 2001, the deadline for
consents from registered holders of its 10-1/2 percent senior subordinated
notes due 2004 and 10-5/8 percent senior subordinated notes due 2007 in
connection with certain proposed amendments to the indentures governing those
securities. As of 5:00 p.m. on September 19, 2001, Fleming had received the
following consents:
