First Virtual Communications, Inc., (Nasdaq: FVCX), a premier provider of rich
media web conferencing and collaboration solutions today announced that Killko
Caballero, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, is leaving the Company. Mr.
Caballero's departure is the result of a mutual decision by the Company's
Board of Directors and Mr. Caballero. While Mr. Caballero has contributed
greatly to the Company's development, both parties believe that new leadership
will be in the best interest of the Company at this time.
Mr. Jonathan Morgan, a member of the Company's Board of Directors, will
serve as the Company's interim Chief Executive Officer, while the Company
conducts a search for a permanent CEO. Mr. Morgan was a director of CUseeMe
Networks when it was acquired by FVC in June 2001 and continued after the
merger as a director of FVC. From 1993 to 2001, Mr. Morgan was a Managing
Director at Prudential Securities and a Managing Director at Prudential Volpe
Technology Group, a division of Prudential Securities. Prudential Securities
provides investment banking services to technology companies. Mr. Morgan is
currently a Managing Director at Rostrevor Partners, LLC, a strategic
consulting services company, which provides services to early stage growth
companies.
