TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Management Solutions Group has just
completed it's analysis and comparative results for the Second Quarter 2003,
State of Florida FDIC Insured Bank Ratios on the Employee Efficiency Ratio(c)
and Employee Profitability Ratio(c).
304 Florida Banks reported an EER of 51.5 and an EPR of 74.9 compared to
41.2 EER and an EPR 79.9 for all FDIC Banks during the same period. Gordon
Shaw, Managing Director of MSG stated that, "it is unclear as to why in such a
high performing banking State like Florida, that Banks are underachieving when
compared to National Averages. Profit per employee continues to trend
downward, and while overall efficiency continues to improve. Corporate
Governance for Shareholders and stakeholders are not seeing increasing profit
per employee. Research continues to evolve in the Human Capital Management
sector, and these performance metrics should continue to focus bank management
toward improving the financial environment."
Management Solutions Group (MSG) a consulting group located in Tampa,
Florida specialized in efficiency and effectiveness of Human Capital and
Performance Management, has just released the following updated information on
Employee Efficiency and Profitability for Banks and Credit Union
organizations. Employee Efficiency and Profitability allows executive
management to focus on tangible ROI of the organization's workforce.
Workforce Optimization is critical to the financial success of any
organization but even more so in the Financial Services Industry. Employee
Efficiency is a measurement standard to determine dynamic employee performance
as it relates to operating earnings and expenses. Employee Profitability is a
dynamic measurement standard to determine the profit the individual employee
produces as it relates to their overall wage, salary and benefit costs.
Both dynamic measurements move away from current static measurements, and
are beneficial in determining how Human Capital Management practices are
performed within the organization, along with identification of how to
improve. For more information contact gshaw@mgmtsolgrp.com, Management
