The Visteon exhibit, No. 11250, is located in the Mobile Electronics
and Technology section on the main floor of the Las Vegas Convention
Center. The SEMA Show continues through Nov. 3.
Visteon is a global leader in the development of in-car and
transportable entertainment technologies and other electronic solutions for
original equipment (OE) manufacturers and the specialty aftermarket. The
company leverages its unique insight to consumer needs at the OE level to
develop innovative products and systems that help enhance the vehicle
ownership experience. Visteon representatives will be available throughout
the show to discuss the company's growing portfolio of mobile electronics
technologies for the aftermarket.
Among the most recent Visteon innovations available for demonstration
during SEMA are HD Jump(TM), the world's first HD Radio receiver that can
be enjoyed in the car, at home or at work, and Dockable Entertainment
featuring Game Boy Advance, the only in-vehicle portable DVD entertainment
system to feature the world's most popular video game platform.
* HD Jump -- The first HD Radio technology designed for use in both the
vehicle and at home. Visteon's HD Jump is a transportable receiver that
docks into a cradle in the vehicle. An optional home kit allows the
receiver to also be used with a home stereo. The HD Jump offers the full
spectrum of HD Radio features, including program associated data, such as
real-time song title, artist and album information, as well as
multicasting, where available. The clarity of HD Radio technology allows FM
stations to be enjoyed with CD quality sound and boosts AM quality up to
that of FM sound. More than 1,000 radio stations now broadcast HD Radio
signals in the U.S. with over 400 offering new formats on HD2 channels.
* Dockable Entertainment featuring Game Boy Advance -- This system
combines the performance and versatility of Visteon's first portable in-
vehicle entertainment system with a video game platform that has sold
nearly 300 million games worldwide. It can be undocked in a matter of
seconds for use at home, in another vehicle or nearly any another location.
The Visteon exhibit also features a Scion xB technology demonstration
vehicle equipped with dozens of recent and emerging mobile electronics,
interior and underhood technologies. The vehicle, designed with a
metropolitan user of technology in mind, illustrates Visteon's latest
innovations geared to the changing lifestyles of automotive consumers.
"SEMA is the one opportunity each year to showcase our extensive
selection of mobile electronics technologies for many of the world's most
successful aftermarket distributors and retailers," said Greg Gyllstrom,
vice president and general manager, Visteon North American aftermarket
operations. "Thanks to our growing presence at SEMA over the past several
years, the Visteon brand is now known not only for premium quality, but
also for highly innovative, differentiated products that appeal to today's

Visteon mobile electronics products for the aftermarket also include
the Dockable Family Entertainment System(TM), combining premium multimedia
(DVD, CD, MP3, WMA) capabilities with easy portability via a docking
station; Hands- Free Phone Kit, a system using Bluetooth(R) technology that
seamlessly integrates cell phone functions into the vehicle's audio system;
and a broad range of premium in-car audio components and systems.
