Successful San Diego Public Home Auction Raises Thousands of Dollars for
Fire Victims
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Industry leader Real Estate
Disposition Corporation (REDC), announced today that it will contribute
$22,500 to the San Diego/Imperial Counties, California Chapter of the
American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts following the destructive
wildfires in the San Diego area.
Over 2,000 attendees flocked to the San Diego Convention Center for
Saturday's Public Home Auction. The wildly successful event saw 90 out of
91 properties that were up for bid, sell. REDC will donate $250 to the Red
Cross Disaster Relief Fund for every property sold at the San Diego home
auction for a total of $22,500.
"Residents of the San Diego and Imperial Counties have witnessed much
damage and devastation as a result of the fires," said Robert Friedman,
Chairman of REDC. "We are very pleased that the success of this weekend's
auction in San Diego will help us support the Red Cross' disaster relief
efforts."
Sunday's Los Angeles area auction witnessed similarly notable results
with 119 Los Angeles area properties sold to the highest bidder at the Los
Angeles Convention Center. Nearly 4,000 registered bidders and onlookers
attended the auction.
This weekend's auctions of Riverside and San Bernardino County
properties should be no less impressive. REDC has already seen 1,400
individuals pre-register for the two upcoming auctions. The Pomona Fairplex
hosts the Riverside area auction on Saturday, November 3rd. The Ontario
Convention Center hosts the San Bernardino area auction on Sunday, November
