CHICAGO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Title and Trust Co. (CT&T)
announced today that Thomas H. Hodges joins the company and its insurance
subsidiaries as executive vice president. He will report to John Rau,
president and chief executive officer, Chicago Title and Trust Co.
As executive vice president, Hodges will be responsible for overseeing the
creation and development of CT&T activities in the national commercial and
industrial sector, including the national business units. He will also act as
the sponsor of company-wide initiatives focused on promoting use of best
practices and development of performance measurement and feedback programs.
Additionally, Hodges will be responsible for international, corporate
marketing and communications activities.

Prior to joining CT&T, Hodges worked at First Chicago NBD Corp. where he
was an executive vice president in the commercial banking business.
During his 28-year-career at First Chicago NBD, Hodges developed and
executed business strategies in the areas of banking, commercial real estate,
leasing and corporate finance in the U.S. and international markets. His
extensive experience also includes leading a number of significant performance
enhancement and productivity development activities. He was an executive vice
president and head of domestic markets and products at The First National Bank
of Chicago, prior to the formation of First Chicago NBD Corp.
Hodges is vice president of the board and chairman of the Planning
Committee of Neighborhood Housing Services, an organization dedicated to
supporting home ownership in specific Chicago neighborhoods.
A graduate of the University of Chicago's School of Business, Hodges
earned his master's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in
finance and accounting. He received his bachelor of arts degree in Economics
with honors from Harvard College.
