RENO, Nev., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air, Inc. [(Nasdaq: RENO),
(PCX: RNO)] today announced a load factor of 62.4 percent for the month of
September, an increase of 1.5 load factor points over September 1996.  The
airline carried 454,141 passengers, representing a 9.6 percent increase over
the same period last year.  During the third quarter, Reno Air flew
876,278,051 revenue passenger miles (RPMs) with a capacity of 1,253,985,579
available seat miles (ASMs) for a load factor of 69.9 percent.
    "As we continue to offer our passengers more products and services, like
our QQuick Miles travel reward program, our increased load factor demonstrates
that more and more passengers are selecting Reno Air," said Reno Air President
and CEO Robert Reding.
